Here is a Waterman 12 in close to original condition. The BCHR is in amazing condition. It is still jet black and gleaming with the original shine. It has almost no fading. The chasing is also very crisp with no wear. As are the imprints. The gold-filled repousse bands are also in superb condition. The only flaw is that there is brassing on the edges of the clip. Without that the body of this pen would be in almost new condition. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is a very wet writing Medium (0.6mm). It’s so wet in fact that it feels more like a Broad. It is also a superb flexing nib. It is wet noodle quality with very soft ease of flexing and a huge range going from 0.6mm to 2.4mm! (BBBB). When I found the nib it had two little cracks on each side of the breather hole, but I had it repaired by Greg Minuskin. You can still see the cracks, but the welds under the nib will hold for a very, very long time. Overall, this is a fantastic vintage Waterman Wet Noodle.
