Waterman 12 Eye Dropper – SUPER FLEX (On Ebay)
Here is a Waterman 12 Eyedropper in red mottled hard rubber. The pen is in great overall condition. The hard rubber has faded a bit. More so on the barrel than on the cap, but still it looks pretty good for the most part. The imprint on the cap is still crisp, but worn and barely readable on the barrel. Thought the “12” is still clear. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is exceptional. The F nib feels like a delicate (in a good way) and precise writer. It’s smooth and has some character to it. It has fantastic, quality flex going from F to BBB (o.4mm-2.2mm). It is plenty wet to handle lots of flex work and has a lovely, springy, responsive action. Not quite a wet noodle, but still very good. There is the tiniest of cracks coming out of the left side of the breather hole. You probably wouldn’t have seen it if I didn’t say something. Alas, that such a nib should have any flaw, but it’s seriously very minor.
