Waterman 52 – Super Flex (On Ebay)
Here is a nice Waterman 52 in BCHR. The pen is still pretty black with only minimal fading. Chasing also is quite crisp with only a minimal wear. The cap, I believe, originally belonged to a 52V as it has a hole in the top where a ring top once was. 52v’s have identical caps except for the ring top or clip placement. Since the wear on the body and cap are pretty consistent with one another, I’d say the pair have been together for a good long while. There is some slight bite marks on the top of the cap, but very slight. The lever has a bit of scuffing to the bottom of the box but otherwise looks great. Imprints are crisp. The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is a fantastic flex nib. It writes normally as a smooth and wet F/M (0.5mm). It has a soft and snappy flex going up to 2.0mm (BBB). This is a high end super flex nib.
