John Holland Ring Top – SUPER FLEX (On Ebay)
John Holland was a high quality pen maker that operated out of Cincinnati, OH. This is a red hard rubber ring top that is in very good condition. The gold filled is in good condition with little to no brassing. There is light surface scratching on the pen if you look close (like magnification close), but nothing very noticeable. Imprint is still very crisp and has a patent date of Sept, 1915. The 14kt. original John Holland nib is a very nice and smooth writing F (0.4mm) that flexes up to 2.0mm. The pen flexes well, and I have graded it as super flex. It doesn’t quite have the responsiveness of a higher quality super flex, but it does have great flow that keeps up very well.
