Mabie Todd Swan- Semi Flex (On Ebay)

Here is a made in England Mabie Todd Swan self filler #3350. It is made of a maroon celluloid with gold filled trim. The pen is in fair condition. The celluloid looks great and the gold filled trim looks good over all. However the lever is bent in the middle so that when the lever is at rest the back sticks out from the barrel. The section screws into the barrel which is a nice feature, and the barrel threads are metal. There does appear to be a small crack through the metal threads, but it does not at affect threading the cap. The nib is a glassy, smooth Mabie Todd Swan 14kt. #2. It has a bit of flex, but I wouldn’t call anything better than a semi flex. A great everyday writer.
