Waterman 52 – Super Flex  (On Ebay)

Here is a nice Waterman 52 in BCHR. The pen is still pretty black with only mild fading. The chasing is pretty worn, especially on the barrel. It is much more crisp on the cap. The imprint on the side of the barrel is worn but readable. The “52” on the back looks pretty good with a little red still left in the 52. There is some wear on the nickel plated trim, but it still looks pretty decent. The Waterman 14kt. #2 nib is great. It is getting very near wet noodle status. Actually this nib is better than some of the wet noodles I’ve used because it is an XXF that is quite responsive. It is very easy to flex, but the responsiveness makes it easy to control. A great nib for Copperplate. Not as good as a dip nib of course. But very good for a fountain pen nib.
