Waterman 12 PSF – Super Flex
Here is a clip less (no original clip) Waterman 12 PSF. These are the predecessor to the 52 and identical to it (so ignore the mistaken identity in the pic). This one comes in smooth black hard rubber. The hard rubber has browned a bit into a dark, blackish brown. The imprints on the side are worn and only partially readable. The “12 PSF” on the end of the barrel is still crisp and with the original red paint. The nickel filled lever is in good condition without little worn off, though it is a bit matted from its original shine due to micro abrasions. The 14 kt. Waterman #2 is a lovely nib. It writes normally as a wet and smooth XF (0.3mm). The flex on this nib comes quite easily and ranges up to 1.5mm. The responsiveness on this nib is what makes the flex really sing. That snap back makes for superb flex action.
