Conklin Crescent 3NL – Super Flex

Here is a beautiful Conklin Crescent model 3NL. The hard rubber is still pretty black with very little fading. There chasing on the body is a little worn and still has texture, but the chasing on the body is quite worn at the top of the cap. The imprints still look pretty good, but have lost some definition in the center of the imprint. The gold-filled trim has some wear (a bit on the edges of the clip, a little on the top of the crescent, and some scratches on the band), but overall they still look very fine. Certainly far better than a hundred pen has any business to look. The 14kt. Conklin #3 nib writes normally as a smooth XF. Smooth but not overly wet. The flex comes quite easily ranging up to BBB (1.6mm). Responsiveness is also very nice.
