Waterman 12 1/2 P.O.C. – Super Flex 

Here is vintage Watermen that you don’t see terribly often: the 12 1/2 P.O.C. This is an eyedropper with a screw on cap. It is basically the same size as the 12 but thinner (thus the 1/2). The pen is in outstanding condition. The black rubber is still very black on most of the pen. Just a bit of fading on the cap. The chasing is also quite good. On the top of the cap it looks like new, but it is a little more faded on the rest of the pen. The imprints are crisp. I believer that the cap originally had a gold band as well as the lip is slightly indented where the band used to be. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is a beautiful nib (sorry for all the fuzz in the pics. Stupid Kleenex). It writes as a smooth and wet F (0.5mm) that is slightly oblique. You can see it in the pics. The flex is quite large ranging up 2.0mm. Responsiveness is pretty good as well. Overall, this is a great eyedropper of a rarer variety in great condition.
