Conklin Crescent 20P – Super Flex – (On Ebay)
Here is a great vest size Conklin Crescent in BCHR. The hard rubber is still quite black on the cap but has faded dark grayish brown on the barrel. The chasing is still pretty decent throughout (especially on the cap) with texture remaining. The imprints are a little faded but still readable. The gold-filled trim looks great with no brassing. The made in Toledo 14kt. Conklin #2 is a beauty. It writes as a very wet F (0.4mm), but is superbly smooth with just a hint of “stubbishness.” It also has some nice flex ranging up to BB (1.6mm) quite easily with good responsiveness and nice flow. It’s just a great all around vintage flex nib.
