Waterman 52 – Super Flex (On Ebay)
Here is a Waterman 52 in decent condition. Actually, the cap is in great condition, but the body has more definite signs of age and use. It’s a BCHR pen. The cap is a dark brown black and the body has turned to more a dark brown. Chasing is still visible with texture on the cap while it is mostly visible but without texture on the body. Imprints are faded and only partly readable. The “52” on the end of the barrel is no longer visible. The body is personalize with the name “Robert Desel.” Nickel-filled trim is in great condition with no brassing that i can see. The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is a nice writing ultra fine nib. It’s bordering between XXF and XF at 0.25mm. And it has decent flex. It ranges from 0.25mm to 1.7mm with very nice responsiveness. It is a bit on the stiff side of “super flex,” but such a fine nib with a good responsive action makes for some lovely flex work.
