Wahl-Eversharp Skyline – Good/Super Flex – (On Ebay)
This is a gorgeous Skyline in burgundy with a green and black pinstripe cape and a large gold-filled band. The pen is in great condition. The body shows very little wear. The gold-filled trim looks great. There is a little bit of plate loss on the crown of the lever. The band looks great. There is also a small, hardly noticeable, indent on the cap next to the clip, and probably made by the clip. The 14kt. Eversharp nib is such a beautiful writer. It’s a Fine (0.4mm) stub. It has a nice flow, it’s buttery smooth, and it has some definite character to it. A pure pleasure to write with. The nib also has some pretty nice flex ranging up BBB+ (1.8mm). It has decent responsiveness. I’ve rated it on the border between “good” and “super” flex mainly because it is a bit on the stiff side for “super flex.” Still this pen is a beauty and that nib is such a joy.
