Waterman 52V – Super Flex (On Ebay)

Here is a great Waterman 52V in black hard rubber with no original chasing and gold filled trim. The hard rubber has but more to gray than to brown. It really looks more like a dark gray. The gold-filled trim looks very good overall. There is some very light wear to a few places on the lever and the band, but not really anything you can see without magnification. Imprints all look good and crisp. The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is a very nice and smooth writing XF with a little bit of stubbishness to it. The flex on this nib is quite responsive. It ranges from XF to BBB (1.6mm) and the responsiveness really makes flex writing look good and sharp.
