Waterman Red Mottled 52 1/2V – Super Flex / Wet Noodle  (On Ebay)

Here is a Waterman 52 1/2 V in red mottled hard rubber that is in very nice condition. The color is still very good with just a little bit of fading on the hard rubber. The imprints are still crisp and readable. The gold-filled trim (lever, band, and ring top) looks great with no brassing or scuffing. Finally, this 14kt. Waterman #2 is just a beauty. Normally, it writes as a F (0.4mm) that has a nice flow. It feels wonderful. It’s soft and smooth and just a little pressure brings a bit a flex. Normal writing results in a lot of nice shading as a result (see the sample pic). And this nib has beautiful flex. It ranges from F (0.4mm) to BBB (1.7mm). It flexes very easily. So much so that I would grade this as on the border between Super Flex and Wet Noodle. It also has some pretty good responsiveness. This is just a superb vest for every kind of writing.
