Here is a gorgeous Skyline in black with green pinstripe cap. I personally like the pinstripe caps (especially the green) over the gold-filled ones. They tend to wear better and, to me, have a more sophisticated look. The body has some light scratching typical with these pens. And there is a deeper scratch through part of the threads (see pic), but the cap still threads perfectly smooth. There is no brassing on the trim. The 14kt. Eversharp nib is a very wet M/ B (0.6mm). It is glassy smooth and reminds me a bit of my Pelikan nibs. It also has some flex. It ranges up to a large BBB (1.8mm), but the flex is a bit too stiff and lacks the responsiveness of more elite flex nibs. That doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with it. It still is beautiful wet nib on a lovely pen.
