Waterman 52 Red Ripple – Super Flex  (On Ebay)

Here is a Waterman 52 in Red Ripple hard rubber. The red ripple hard rubber still has pretty good color with not a lot of fading. The gold-filled trim is not quite good condition. The “globe” of the lever has two tiny spots of brassing on it’s edges. There is some brassing on the ball of the clip, and a couple of spots of brassing on the top edge of the band. Imprints are still very good and only lightly worn. The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is has an XXF nib that writes quite smoothly and is capable of nice hairlines. If you write with a heavy hand it will get wider because the tines spread quite easy. The flex is very good with good responsiveness. It is not quite  a wet noodle, but it is a very nice super flex nib. A fantastic Waterman Red Ripple 52.

• Nib and trim polished
• Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned
• Nib and feed tuned to write smoothly and with optimal flow
• New ink sac installed
• Test driven for at least a week to insure quality
