Waterma Emblem – Medium Flex (On Ebay)
Here is the later version of Waterman’s Hundred Year Pen, which they renamed to Emblem. These pens are large. I believe this is the “standard” size, but don’t let that fool you. The cap is 15.5mm in diameter and the barrel is over 13mm. I’ve included a pic of this nib compared to a Waterman #2 nib just to give some perspective. This Emblem is in great condition with only very light scratching. The gold filled trim is in very good condition as well. The lever appears to have some nicks on the sides, but they are mostly hidden when the lever is pressed down. The large 14kt. Emblem nib is smooth F that has some flex to it. It has decent range (0.4mm – 1.7mm), but is too stiff in my opinion to be graded higher than medium flex. But the size of this pen and the cigar shaped barrel make it great for writing.
