Waterman 52 – Super Flex (On Ebay)
Here is modified Waterman 52. This 52 had no original clip, but was fitted with a high quality nickel-plated “Ideal” clip. The cap on this pen has been shortened, though it was given a nice beveled edge so that it really does look original. It may have been modified to remove a cracked lip or just to give it some extra style. The BCHR has browned and the chasing is worn smooth, though visible. The imprints are also quite worn though readable. The clip does have some plate loss throughout, but magnification is required to see whatever wear there is on the lever. The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is a great writing, smooth F nib. Even the flex on this nib is really smooth. It has great range of flex from 0.4mm to 2.2mm. The feed has no trouble keeping up, so you don’t have to worry much about railroading. This would make a great every day carry.
