Waterman 52 – Super Flex  (On Ebay)

This is a Waterman 52 in good condition. The hard rubber has faded to a dark brown. The chasing has also worn, though there still is some texture there. The pen body also has some light scratching throughout. The nickel-lated trim is mostly in good condition. There are just some very small spots of plate loss on the clip and lever. The side imprint is worn though mostly readable. The “52” on the back is still crisp. The 14kt. #2 Waterman nib is a nice XXF (0.2mm). It’s pretty smooth for XXF, and it flexes up to at least 1.9mm. It isn’t the easiest flexing nib, but it has pretty good responsiveness, great range, and such a fine nib makes flexing require very little variation to look sharp.

• Nib and trim polished
• Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned
• Nib and feed tuned to write smoothly and with optimal flow
• Test driven for at least a week to insure quality
