Moore 72 Ring Top – Good Flex
Here is a vintage Moore 72 ring top in navy blue. The pen is in beautiful shape except that the ring top is missing. The navy blue body has very light surface scratching typical of a pen this old, but it still shines (after polishing of course) like new. The gold filled trim looks great. There is little to no brassing on lever or band. Imprints are all good. The 14kt. Moore #2 nib is on the border between an XF and an XXF. It is just a tad dry (though most XXF seem a tad dry), but still quite smooth. The nib has decent flexibility up to 1.6mm. Still an excellent example of Boston made Moore 72 ring top.
