Waterma 52- Good Flex (On Ebay)
This pretty nice Waterman 52 with nickel lever and “clip cap” clip is in good condition. There is a bit of wear on the clip that you see upon close inspection, and even less on the lever. It has some typical browning of the black hard rubber. The chasing is pretty worn. The imprints can be seen and read, but are fairly worn as well. There are also a few scratches here and there on the pen. Still a beautiful pen for as old as it is. It has the original Ideal #2 14kt. nib that is an XF (0.3mm) with flex ranging to BB (1.0mm). For those who only judge flex by line variation might wonder how this gets a “good flex” rating. The reason is that the flexing comes fairly easily and the responsiveness of the nib makes some good flex writing come pretty easy. The nib is wet and you won’t ever have to worry about railroading. Overall, a very nice flex pen.
