Waterman 3V – SUPER FLEX (SOLD)

This pretty little Waterman 3V is made of beautiful green agate celluloid. The pen is in excellent condition except that the clip was broken off at some point. I have filed the jagged remains so that it just looks like a silver ring on top of a clip less cap. The real star of the pen is the nib, which is a F to M (0.5mm) Super Flex nib that writes with extremely good wetness. Honestly, the flex on it might be even bigger, but it has one issue. There is a dent in the nib on the right tine. This is not due to a “sprung” nib, as there are abrasions on the top of it that make it look like something was dropped on it. The dent does not appear to effect the performance of the nib, but it has kept me within the “very safe” range of the nib in it’s flexing. So I’m calling it a 0.5mm to 1.5mm Super flex. Lever is in excellent condition and imprints are all very clear with little to no wear. A great little pen that is a nice size when posted.

Restration Work:

• Pen thoroughly cleaned & flushed
• Body hand polished
• Nib polished and tuned to write smoothly
• Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned and adjusted for optimal flow
• New sac installed
• Test driven for a week to insure quality
