Waterman 52V – Super Flex

Here is the classic Waterman 52V in BCHR. The 52V has the bulk of a 52 in a shorter, more portable design. This pen is really meant to be posted (cap on the end of the barrel) when writing, which gives it the feel and balance of the 52. The BCHR is faded some to a dark brown Chasing is little a worn but still has some texture. More texture on the barrel than the cap. The cap does not and never had an original clip or ring top. The nickel filled lever is in good condition with no brassing. Imprints are a little worn but readable. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is a lovely, smooth writing F (0.4mm). Just a tab stubbish. The flex comes quite easily ranging up to BBB (1.6mm). The responsiveness is decent but nothing revolutionary. It’s a good, solid flex nib. Flow has no issues keeping up. Overall, a great Waterman.
