Wahl-Eversharp Skyline (Demi) – Super Flex (SOLD)

Wahl-Eversharp Skyline (Demi) – Super Flex

Here is the classic Skyline in the smaller Demi version. The body of the pen is in good condition with minimal wear from normal use. The gold-filled cap sleeve has some small dings here and there as is commonly seen with these. These sleeves are very durable, but they do end up showing the wear after using them for decades. The lever has lots a little bit of plating on it’s crown from where the cap gets posted. The 14kt. Eversharp nib is just a joyous XF. It writes an elegant, soft, and smooth line and then flexes up to BBB (1.7mm) with no flow issues at all. Ease of flex is a little on the firmer side of “super flex” as is usual with Skylines. Responsiveness is great. The KWZ Honey ink really shows it off in my opinion. A good Skyline with an outstanding nib.

Waterman 12 – Wet Noodle (SOLD)

Waterman 12 – Wet Noodle  (See Price Here)

Here is the classic Waterman 12 in chased hard rubber. The black body has faded some to a dark brown. The chasing is visible with texture but is a bit worn. The imprints still look almost new. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is a rather oblique (left tine tipping is longer than the right). This makes for an italic like quality to your writing, but it’s also got some feedback. Tipping is a bit low, but it has enough to last plenty more years. The flex on this nib is quite good ranging from F (0.4mm) to BBB (1.8mm). Ease of flex I would grade as on the lower end of a wet noodle. I wouldn’t recommend this one to the newbie as the oblique nib takes some getting used to, but it can deliver some rewarding results.

Wahl Lapis Blue Gold Seal with “Flexible” Nib – Good Flex (SOLD)

Wahl Lapis Blue Gold Seal with “Flexible” Nib – Good Flex

I’ve had a run on these beautiful Wahl’s in Lapis blue, but sadly this is the last one I’ve got in stock. This is a vest size pen. The body is in nice condition with some very minor surface scratching from normal use. The color is great throughout including the black at the ends. The gold-filled trim is in overall nice condition. There is just a touch of brassing on the lever, but otherwise it all looks really nice. The cap does post securely, but it can strangely rotate on the back of the pen. The feed has the Eversharp ink stopping feature, though in my experience these aren’t terribly effective. The 14kt. Eversharp “Flexible” nib is a lovely, buttery smooth writing F (0.4mm). It has a good range of flex going to 1.4mm (BB). However, it lacks some the responsiveness of a “super flex” and it is just a bit too stiff. Still, this is a lovely pen in fantastic condition.

 How To Buy

Typically, I sell my pens on Ebay, however, occasionally I acquire pens that are just too valuable to sell in that format. Some may eventually find their way to Ebay. Some will not. I do my best to come up with a fair price, but pricing vintage pens is very difficult. If you are interested in buying one of these pens simply email me at dannystr78@gmail.com. I will send you a Paypal invoice, at which time you have 2 days to pay. Shipping is $5.95 within the U.S. I charge my cost for international shipping, and I generally give the buyer his/ her choice of options. Pens will ship within 2 business days of payment. My normal refund policy applies. If you feel I have not described the pen well or are unhappy with my restoration work, you may return for full refund. Buyer pays return shipping.

Waterman 12 1/2 P.O.C. – Super Flex (SOLD)

Waterman 12 1/2 P.O.C. – Super Flex

Here is vintage Watermen that you don’t see terribly often: the 12 1/2 P.O.C. This is an eyedropper with a screw on cap. It is basically the same size as the 12 but thinner (thus the 1/2). The pen is in outstanding condition. The black rubber is still very black on most of the pen. Just a bit of fading on the cap. The chasing is also quite good. On the top of the cap it looks like new, but it is a little more faded on the rest of the pen. The imprints are crisp. I believer that the cap originally had a gold band as well as the lip is slightly indented where the band used to be. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is a beautiful nib (sorry for all the fuzz in the pics. Stupid Kleenex). It writes as a smooth and wet F (0.5mm) that is slightly oblique. You can see it in the pics. The flex is quite large ranging up 2.0mm. Responsiveness is pretty good as well. Overall, this is a great eyedropper of a rarer variety in great condition.
