Wahl Gold Seal / “Flexible” Nib – Super Flex (SOLD)

Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal Lapis – Super Flex (On Ebay)

Here is an absolutely gorgeous Wahl Gold Seal flat top pen in Wahl’s stunning lapis blue (my favorite). This is a larger pen. Slightly, shorter than a Waterman 52 but also a bit thicker in diameter. The pen is in beautiful condition. The body looks superb with hardly any discoloration. The trim looks fantastic. The only sign of brassing I can see is a small spot on the lever. The black hard rubber ends and section are still a shiny black. This pen was also modified on the interior. The barrel and the section were reinforced with internal metal rings to keep to ensure they do not crack. The Wahl Eversharp Gold Seal “Flexible” nib is large and beautiful. The nib writers normally as a XF with medium wetness. The flex is quite good, as you would expect given the moniker. It ranges from XF to BBB (0.3mm-1.7mm) and has a good responsiveness to it. The El Dorado (a thin and dry-ish ink) railroaded a tad, but other inks I’ve tried had no trouble. Overall, a superb and gorgeous Wahl.
