Waterman 52 Red Ripple – Super Flex (On Ebay)

Here is a Waterman 52 red ripple likely from the European market. The hard rubber has pretty good color with minimal fading. A little more fading on the cap, but it’s still pretty vivid. This likely was sold with a Waterman accommodation clip, but it was originally a clipless model. The lever, as was customary in Europe, is nickel-filled rather than gold-filled, and it is in good condition. It has a thin gold-filled band on the cap to keep the pen from developing lip cracks. The imprints are very good and crisp. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is a beautiful writing XF nib. It’s ultra smooth with good flow. The flex comes quite easy going up to 1.6mm. It has decent responsiveness as well. I love writing with this nib, and the flex is just icing on the cake.
