Waterman 12 – Super Flex  (On Ebay)

Here is a Waterman 12 in BCHR. Next to the 52, there is probably no other pen that best embodies what a vintage Waterman offers. The BCHR on this pen is faded some to a dark brown. The chasing is still very nice and crisp throughout the pen. Imprints are also fantastic. There are some very, very light teeth marks on the top of the cap and end of the barrel. You wouldn’t see them unless you look closely. There is also a very small chip in the end of the barrel. The 14kt. Waterman #2 is the kind of wonderful nib that Waterman is known for. It’s a lovely writing XF that feels more like an XXF than a F. It’s pretty smooth for how fine it is. It also has some easy flex that ranges up to BBB (1.6mm) with some nice snap back. It’s a hundred plus year Waterman eyedropper with a super flex nib in good condition.

• Nib polished and tuned to write smoothly
• Trim cleaned and polished
• Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned and adjusted for optimal flow
• New ink sac installed
• Test driven for a week to insure quality
