Here is a fantastic Skyline in brown with large gold-filled cap band and gold-filled derby. The pen is in excellent condition. There are only micro scratches from normal use that has mostly buffed out. The gold-filled trim is in excellent condition with no brassing on the derby, clip, or band. There is just a tiny bit of plate loss on the edges of the lever, but you’d have to look close to even see it. The nib on this pen is a blast. It’s a smooth, lovely, soft writing wet XF (0.3mm). In addition to great normal writing, this nib has soft, fantastic flex going from XF to BBBB! (2.2mm). That’s a huge range. Responsiveness is also quite good. It’s not quite soft enough to be called a wet noodle, but it has many of the qualities of a wet noodle nib. Definitely a high caliber flex nib. And it’s a nice large, robust 14kt. Eversharp Skyline nib. All around fantastic pen.
