Moore L-82 – Super Flex/ Wet Noodle – (On Ebay)
There Moore L-82 is a vest size pen (similar to the Waterman 52V) in BCHR. The hard rubber on the pen has faded to a dark brown. A few spots on the body are a bit lighter. The chasing has also worn but it still has some texture. The imprints are still pretty crisp except the “L-82” on the end of the barrel which is a bit faded. The gold filled trim looks to be in pretty good condition as well. The 14kt. Moore #2 is an nice, smooth writing XF (0.3mm). It’s not overly wet. More like what you might find in modern Japanese pen as far as flow rather than a typical Western or vintage nib. It also has some nice flex. It has a nice range going from XF (0.3mm) to BB (1.6mm). This nib is close to what I would call a “super flex.” It just is a hair stiff for such a grade, and it does railroad occasionally, but only occasionally.
