Waterman 12 Eye Dropper – SUPER FLEX (On Ebay)
Here is a Waterman 12 Eyedropper with patent dates of 1884, 1899 and 1903. This pen has two gold-filled bands on the barrel with a very lovely engraving. The initials on the band read “M.E.P.” The hard rubber has faded to a dark brown. The chasing has worn on the barrel. It is visible on places but smooth in others. The chasing on the barrel, though, is still quite good. The imprints are a little worn but still very readable and crisp. There are some teeth marks on the top of the cap (see pic). The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is a very nice writing XF (0.3mm) that flexes quite easily up to 1.6mm. The pen has some very good responsiveness making for some very nice flex writing. The Waterman 12 is a classic and being an eyedropper holds plenty of ink and you don’t have to worry about railroading. Excellent pen!
