Conklin Glider – Semi-Flex – (On Ebay)
Here is a great example of the Conklin Glider from the 1930s. These pens were considered budget pens of the time, but were well made and quite durable. This body of this pen is in good condition. The celluloid is still quite attractive. The plating on the clip and lever is worn significantly and shows some pitting (see pics). The band shows only minor signs of brassing but does have some light scraping. The band is also loose and turns freely on the cap. This pen is fitted with a Conklin Cushion Point 14k nib, which are considered to be good, high quality nibs. It also has some flex to it. A great, light vintage pen.
