Waterma 54 – Good Flex (On Ebay)
Here is a Waterman 54 in moderate condition. The chasing is worn, though still visible in spots. Imprints are worn but readable. The hard rubber has faded to a dark brown. It has an accommodation clip that has a decent amount of wear. The nickel plated lever is in good condition, though there is some wear on the sides of the lever box. There is also a chip out of the bottom lip of the cap (see pic). The 14kt. Waterman nib on this pen is actually a #5 (should be a #4). It later #5 from probably the 40s or so (the body likely dates to the 20s). Nevertheless, the nib works great in the pen. It is a fabulously smooth XF with good flow. It has a great flex range going from 0.3mm to 2.0mm, but ease of flex borders right between good and super.
