Waterman 52 – Super Flex (On Ebay)
This is a Waterman 52 in decent condition. The cap has some spots that haves faded more significantly than others (for example around the lip of the cap). The body also has some fading, but it is still pretty black. Chasing on the cap is good, but it is more worn (though visible). Imprint on side is a little worn but also visible. The “52” still looks good. The nickel plated trim is in good shape. There is some wear if you look under magnification, but nothing serious. There is a spot of some kind of adhesive on the clip just under the pins. I didn’t want to risk damaging the surface of the clip in scraping it off. The 14kt. Waterman #2 nib is a super flex nib. The tipping, however, is worn low, but it is present. The nib writes as a wet, but not too wet, and smooth fine.
