Waterma 52 – Good Flex – (On Ebay)
Now here is a pen that would make Indiana Jones proud. Very rustic. Hard rubber has browned some. It comes with an after market clip. Pen clips were not standard issue on these old pens, and many people would later buy a clip to attach. The lever has some wear, and it sticks out just a bit from the barrel. There are three small cracks around the bottom of the cap (see pics). The nib is gloriously smooth, even for a Waterman. The flex is pretty good, but it is very wet when flexing. It makes controlling the nib a bit harder (thus the “good flex” grade rather than “super flex”), but it also really brings out the shading of the ink. A very nice daily writer.
